Karen + Kasra elected to do their first look and pre-wedding day formals outside to show off the outdoor beauty Utah has to offer, most of their family + friends live elsewhere. They also wanted to create optimal family time on their wedding day and not be swept off doing pictures, a perfect reason to do a first look session pre-wedding. They shared their love story with us:
“The first chapter of this love story began on their first day of college in an English class 10 years ago. Without another chair left in the classroom, Alex took a seat next to Karen who he would later call his wife. The relationship built swiftly once Alex invited her over to play x-box and offered to help with homework. He knew she was worth the effort, however Karen was already swoon by Kasra’s southern drawl and big hearted smile. Kasra and Karen have waited years to hear themselves announced husband and wife. The time they took building their love story would foretell the length of time it would take to plan the perfect wedding. Kasra and Karen chose to exchange vows in Salt Lake City, UT to showcase where their relationship began. A traditional and intimate ceremony was held at The White Memorial Chapel overlooking the city, and a lively reception to followed downtown at Trolley Square. Guests from Kasra’s home state of Florida to the Pacific Northwest were welcomed by Utah’s majestic mountains, cool streams and warm sunshine where it all began.”
